An ode to a Drop Down

An ode to a drop down ...
once upon a time
there was a drop down
humble  and simple he was
until they decided to make him a clown
first they wanted some css
then everybody went yes ! yes !
then they wanted a flag
Boy, i tell you it was a mixed bag !
what with Airport code and what not
no one knew what to put in and what not
they wanted everything in there
from weather to location and stare
till the code that was initially thread bare
looked more like a nightmare
And i guess the end of the dropdown
because she could not stand under that heavy budren
that she was made to carry
she dropped down
literally !
